My way to vocational training – NetWork Videopodcast with Tarek

“How you manage all this in just a few years – these are really touching moments.”

Tarek came to Germany in 2015. At that time he was only 15 years old. In 2016 he found a school place and graduated. With the help of various internships he found out which profession suits him and applied. Now he is in the 3rd year of his vocational training as a management assistant in office management at the AWO Bremen.

In addition to the apprenticeship, Tarek is doing his Abitur (A-levels) as part of a double qualification. He is also involved in the association “Flüchtling für Flüchtling“, which he founded together with friends. Tarek is also a member of the advisory board of Welcome to Bremen.

We thank Tarek for the insight into his life! Thanks to everyone involved for the great shoot.
