The Vocational Orientation for Refugees (BOF) offers support in finding a job which fits the individual need and interests.
As part of the program, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, young refugees are given in-depth insights into up to three apprenticeship occupations and thus into the German working world for around six months. The aim is to enable them to develop a realistic idea of occupations and the respective training, as well as of their personal knowledge and skills, so that they can make an informed career decision.
In addition to the work in our training workshops, the young refugees gain insights into their desired occupations during company internships, learn about operational processes and can thus apply for an apprenticeship or an introductory qualification themselves. In addition, they receive classes in German, mathematics and science, as well as the opportunity to learn important study and work techniques.
